There was an opportunity to rethink the crib as a more enduring platform — one that could support the child through multiple stages while creating a healthier and more considered sleep environment from the start.
Approach
Lola was developed as a grow-with-me furniture system designed to extend beyond the traditional crib lifecycle. Rather than functioning as a single-stage nursery product, it was conceived as a platform that could transition from crib to toddler bed to lounge chair, increasing usefulness over time while reducing replacement and waste.
